Clients have entrusted us to help manage their assets since 1965. During that time, we have never wavered in our top priority: putting the client first. We take pride in offering outstanding customer service with a hands-on approach to managing money. We aim to act in the best interest of our clients and are grateful for the trust our clients place in our team.

We believe in tailoring our investments to match individual clients’ needs and risk tolerance. While some financial advisors hire money managers that may increase fees for their clients, we primarily manage funds directly through the Private Investment Management (PIM) program so that we know exactly how your money is invested and why it is invested that way. Some clients may work with us on a growth strategy and can tolerate a higher level of risk. Other clients may have a goal of income during retirement and preserving wealth. We lean to help our clients and their families pursue opportunities to build and preserve wealth in alignment with their financial goals.

The PIM program is not designed for excessively traded or inactive accounts and is not appropriate for all investors. Please carefully review the advisory disclosure documents for a full description of our services. The minimum account size for this program is $50,000.

We are compensated based on the size of our relationship and the type of accounts clients have with us. For example, we will charge an advisory fee for an account we manage through the PIM program. We do not charge a fee for an account that is not advisory, though there will likely be fees for transactions in non-advisory accounts. We do not take a percentage of profits or charge hidden fees.

The PIM program include Advisory services, performance measurement, transaction costs, custody services and trading. Fees are based on the assets in the account and are assessed quarterly. There is a minimum fee of $250 per calendar quarter to maintain this type of account. The fees do not cover the fees and expenses of any underlying packaged product used in your portfolio. Advisory programs are not designed for excessively traded or inactive accounts and are not appropriate for all investors. During periods of lower trading activity, your costs might be lower if our compensation was based on commissions. Please carefully review the advisory disclosure documents for a full description of our services, including fees and expenses. The minimum account size for this program is $50,000.

We started in this business over 60 years ago and have endured countless volatile markets, periods of inflation, wars, political uncertainty, and everything in between. We believe that because we primarily handle your investments directly (through the Private Investment Management (PIM)) program, we can make changes when we see the need to increase protection and decrease risk - or take advantage of potential opportunities.

We believe clients should have a written wealth plan that shows them the path to achieving their goals. The process starts with taking a comprehensive snapshot of a client’s entire financial life. From there, we work with the client to outline his or her short and long-term goals. We then design a plan with clear, specific steps to help you work toward those goals. Most importantly, the wealth plan is a working document that we will revisit and revise often.

Often… and it’s really up to you. Some of our clients like to hear from us for a quick monthly check in, while others prefer to let us do what we do best and have an annual review. Most clients are somewhere in between. We strive to help ease the burden of financial decision-making by providing thoughtful guidance and support.
